OptionsPro - I need to be able to save the Matrix and bring it back up and have it work after I have run the various scans.
After I have created a list of options to use to help me select trades to use to make paycheck money, I need to be able to save the Matrix and come back to it without having to re-create it from scratch. Now if I screen 3 of 15 potential option trade and then have to go to lunch, when I come back from lunch I have to re-create the Matrix from scratch to process the remaining 12 potential trades.

Eliminate Survivorship Bias at least for the S&P 500
The existing backtest tools in Vectorvest are plagued by Survivorship Bias. This makes it impossible to get an accurate simulation of the expected future statistical performance of a strategy based on historical data, because the historical data becomes more and more inaccurate the further back in time you go in the backtest.
Even if you restrict your backtest search Universe to the 500 stocks in the S&P 500 Watchlist, that too is inaccurate. The 500 components contained within the actual S&P 500 varies from year to year. A committee meets each year and retires certain components and adds replacements.

Fix the software so it does not lock up or crash during trading hours
The program locks up and crashes several times during trading hours. This is unacceptable. Please fix the software. The lock ups and crashing of the software has cost me a lot of money as a day trader.

ARR BASED ON 365 DAYS VERSUS 260 AVERAGE TRADING DAYS PER YEAR
On back-testing the ARR is based on 365 days which in reality provides an inflated positive or negative ARR. The average number of trading days per year is 260 and thus this multiplier would present a more accurate view of actual ARR.

Selection of Graphs to view
You can currently select to graph a number of items or the first x number.
I would like to be able to graph items 20 to 40, or 50 to 60, or 100 to 120. Because we are limited to 100 items to graph, it would be helpful to be able to sequencially graph more than 100 items. Especially useful in Industries looking at Ranking.1 vote -
Can you add NYSE Delphi Automotive, Aptiv PLC (DLPH) as recommended in Kiplinger?
Kiplinger has created a list of eight stocks for 2018 and one was DLPH which is not recognized by VV. I would like to follow it. Delphi Automotive, now Aptiv PLC, which according to Yahoo is listed on the NYSE. Thanks

Can you add a purchasing window to the Backtester?
Adding a purchasing window to the backtester the same as it shows in Portfolio Setup would allow more accurate backtesting of our strategy.

Don't block my access the day after I sign up.
It doesn't instill much confidence in your product when you deny me access to my account the day after I sign up. I had VV send me verification through e-mail about my username and password, still no access. I loose control of my trades with this sort of hatched software.

Add Portflio Automatic Stop Loss Exit Feature
It would be extremely helpful to me if I could have the option to automatically close entire portfolio at a designated drawdown percent, value point or amount. Portfolio charts often show spikes up followed by quick, steep declines. This can often happen because of some news or expectation like maybe there wont be a new tax plan etc.

Cost basis for capitl gains
You can choose an alternative cost basis method for an order. The method will be for a single order only. The method used will be used to calculate the gain or loss for this order or it can be set up for all future orders. Examples are:
(1) First In First Out (FIFO) Shares you acquired first are sold first.
(2)Last In First Out (LIFO) Shares you acquired last are sold first.
(3)High CostShares with the highest cost are sold first.
(4)Low CostShares with the lowest cost are sold first.
(5)Tax Lot Optimizer™Lots are selected and sold with the objective…

Add Yahoo Calendar to your automatic links eg for webinar notices
You already have Google & Outlook calendar links. My guess is that there are a fair number of yahoo calendar users among your members as well. Hope you can do this soon. I've been a member for several years.

Portfolio $ value change on each position(Quantity shares*$change) PLUS the total running/daily $ value change
Portfolio positions should have a column showing the $value change on each position on a real-time/intraday basis(Quantity shares*$change) PLUS the total running/daily $ value change which is just the summation of the above changing $values for each position. Also note the % G/L at top of portfolio could have another field showing $G/L Today. Thank you!
