Bigalow's Top 12 Candlestick Patterns
I recently purchased the ProTrader in order to use more technical signals for my trading. However, from the hundreds of available technical indicators, I am surprised that VV has very few indicators available. As well, Stephen Bigalow has been involved with VectorVest and has also identified his top 12 candlestick patterns that represent the majority of significant signals, with 6 bullish and 6 bearish, but even these are not all available. To have the ability to put 10 & 20 day price channels on a chart
To have the ability to buy stocks when their 10 or 20 price channels are at a low, instead of buying them at a 10 or 20 day price channel high. This in conjunction with the squeeze and the Wilder RSI indicator will give any investor, in my opinion, an edge. These price channels are available on think or swim or Trade Station.

Add Derby Option for Free For Real-Time Users of 2+ Years!! Loyalty Pays!!
Anyone who has been a loyal subscriber for a period of 2+ years should begin to be rewarded. I have looked at other options in lieu of VV and have come upon some ideas that may be better suited and less expensive. How about rewarding loyalty??

A search for gapping up unfilled gap, basing for weeks, and find these stocks with a 40% gain in volume in 50 day ExMA
I want to find stocks that have been basing for several weeks with gap up that is unfilled. With a 50 ExMA that has atleast a 40% increase in volume over the volume for the day.

52 week High/Low
Customer requested that the 52 week High/Low price be added as a Layout option in Viewers, Unisearch, and Portfolio. Indicates that other platforms provide this option

The ability to superimpose a graph of the VVC upon the Equity curve resulting from a long-term backtest would be valuable.
Not all strategies perform equally in different phases of of the market, and the reasons for this are not always obvious. The ability to superimpose (1) the VVC.and (2) the Market Climate vs time upon the equity curve resulting from a candidate strategy's long-term backtest would both pose and answer questions as to its effectivness, and probably would lead to the development of more powerful Unisearch strategies.

Expand Drawing Options on Graphs
We need a way to highlight a chart, especially an indicator, with a shape drawing such as a rectangle or oval in order to highlight significant points that can be reviewed quickly for patterns over time.
It is desirable that shape colors can be chosen and that the colored pattern can be opaque or translucent.
My brokerage account platform TOS allows the above in part.
Please expand the drawing options.

Paste stocks into Watchlist
A list of Stocks, separated by commas, cannot be pasted into a VV7 Watchlist. This problem needs fixing. It can be tedious typing individual symbols if the list is big.

It would allow much more powerful searches if Custom Field Builder allow to include all available ProTrader indicators, including the possiblity of configuring their parameters.

MACD(5,34,12)>0
CCI(9)>CCI(14) [ CCI not available and needed]ex2: DPO(20) Trending Higher 3 days

Assign ETFs by industry, sector and or style in a column so when we screen we are not reteiving duplicates from the different ETF providers.

Make the ProTrader searches reflect intraday results.
As it stands right now, all of the ProTrader search parameters compare crossovers from the previous days reading of the indicator, ie...DPO crossover within the last 1 day. Day Traders will be looking for stocks that crossed over in the last 1 minute (or set it up so that they can customize the span with in the 5 days worth of intraday data).

Display more historical data in the Derby Tote Board
Right now, the historical data in the derby only goes back to Aug. 18th. I'd like to see it go back further.

Global quickfolio settings should be used for Derby generated quickfolio defaults.
Setting the default quickfolio settings (margin req, investment amounts, commission, etc) in the main program settings does not carry over to the quickfolios you can generate from the Derby tool.
