  1. I would like to see an stop option for a close below a highest stop for long positions and above a lowest stop for short positions. This would have to be coupled with a rule that the buy/sell price does not violate the stop criteria

  3. Can you take all the Back Test settings from all the strategy presentations and place them in one convenient place on the web site or the VectorVest platform? It would make it easier to find the Back
    Test settings.

  6. Since I am very new I am not talking about the VectorVes7t system, I am talking about the envelope around the system.
One of the biggest shortcoming is the inability for the end user to produce printouts. I am trying to learn the system and printouts of various subjects would really help me a lot.
I would be very happy to see an improvement in that area.

  7. Add to VV7 the features in VV US that allow performance charts to be printed on a white background comparing performance over various periods and have them show percentages at the top of the page as in now the case. I use this format for showing clients on one page what their stock etf's have done vs bond index since beginning of quarter, year, etc.

  10. A portfolio is now created by entering one trade at a time. If a portfolio exists on another platform, how do we get that across and integrate it easily into VectorVest? How about using a table to input values, or allowing to import via CSV? Right now it takes too much time especially if the portfolio has 20-39 holdings.

  12. A couple years ago when I subscribed to VectorVest, I asked that PJX Resources Inc. on the Canadian TSX-Venture be included (Ticker: PJX; Website: www.pjxresources.com). However, I did not complete a formal request, and instead had left a phone message for Angel. I am again asking with a formal request that PJX be added given it has promising precious and base metal prospects in a mining rich area of southern British Columbia, as well as been rated favourably by stock rating services. Thanks

  15. Add Elder Impulse System for price display. See Chapter 40 of The New Trading for a Living by Alexander Elder. This system uses different colors for price bars based on the possible combinations of EMA and MACD-Histogram. If EMA is rising and MACD-H is rising the price bar is green (bullish) and shorting is prohibited. If EMA is falling and MACD-H is falling the price bar is red (bearish) and buying is prohibited. If EMA is rising and MACD-H is falling the price bar is blue (neutral) and nothing is prohibited. If EMA is falling and MACD-H is rising the…

  18. Our User Group discovered that the Stop Price used for stop ascending sorts is based on the Split-Adjusted Stock Price, not the Actual Stock Price. This distorts the back tests done with such searches.

Let's take an example. If you run stop ascending search on February 19, 2010, the number two stock that pops up on the list is VFC, and that is one of the stocks that the back tester would have bought on the following Monday if you started using this system on 2/19/10. If you graph it, you will see a Stop Price on that date for…

  20. Whenever market conditions change (move into c/up, c/dn, kicker combo, etc.) allow automatic settings to change, thereby enabling tightening or loosening of stops or gains, and changing investing size as well as number of stocks to purchase.
