  1. Custom EMA searches

    i would like to be able to set any EMA daily value in the Pro Trader EMA searches not be limited to the preset ones. For example I would like to use a 2 and an 8 day EMA. Alternatively i would like to see EMA's available in the Custom Field Builder

  2. There should be a way to export data from the backtest section of the program without having to print the info.

    When accessing the backtest section you can have a list of results from previous backtests. We should be able to export those results to an excel spreadsheet so that we can do further analysis of our results.

  3. Add DEW to HomePage Colorguard

    Add a column after Call, label it DEW. Under DEW list appropiate D/Up or D/Dn. We already have columns for the Trend- primary & underlying market, plus the Call for C/Up or C/Dn. This just adds one more quick look to the puzzle of the trending market.

  4. Give us price information on fibonacci retracement levels

    On VV7 when drawing fibonacci levels it is difficult to determine the retracement level prices. On my Think or Swim platform hovering over the fib level brings up a popup box with the price level

  5. Make Backtest sell at end of test period

    Currently Backtest does not sell at end of test period - always uses current day close price info for the end date - not next day's open, if checked. Also, does not account for the broker charge on the final sell of the stock.

  7. Import and graph up (green) and dn (red) dates from my own timers to display on VV Graphs

    I would like to be able to import Up (green) / Dn (red) signals and dates, and view them on the graphs exactly like the C/Up and C/Dn signals that we can see now, using Markers > Market Timing Dates. I know it can be done, as we can import our signals into the Simulator using .CSV files, so why not into Pro Graphics?

    Regular Analysis(in daily views) of Industry/Sector Rotation by VectorVest team with searches yielding solid stocks you can swing trade for days or weeks. Less time should be spent on strategies yeilding jumpy $1-$2 stocks that few would be comfortable putting serious money into.

  9. Build "Searches" of all ETFs, with and without the leveraged funds

    I'd like to be able to do "Searches" of all ETFs with and without the leveraged funds. Vector Vest is woefully short of data to use for investing in ETFs. A list of all available ETFs with and without the leveraged funds would be a start.

  10. Graph a portfolio

    VV allows you to graph a watchlist, but not a portfolio (as far as I know). Allow the same functionality so you can track the RT of your consolidated portfolio, compare performance vs the VVC or other metrics, etc.

  13. Post FUTURE EARNINGS dates in addition to past earnings dates on the graph (chart)

    Post FUTURE EARNINGS dates on graph and elsewhere. The newest VV update adds past earnings dates but future earnings dates (as is done in Options Pro) would be more helpful.

  14. Add alert settings for each individual portfolio when using Genius

    I have portfolios that I am testing and portfolios where I follow my actual trades. All of them have the genius on. I want to receive alert only on the portfolio where I am actually trading and not on all of them. It will be so much easier to find out when I need to buy and sell ... without checking all the alerts and possibly missing an opportunity to buy/sell on my active portfolios. Thanls

  15. Add more technical indicators like CCI, Twiggs MoneyFlow, etc.

    VV7 is the flagship product but is lacking in technical indicators, especially compared to VV's Options Pro! We keep hearing that retail investors should watch for institutional footsteps, so what better way than Twiggs or Chaikin (competing product!?!) MoneyFlow, as well as the popular CCI, and several others to allow for more trading techniques/approaches. VV needs to keep in step with the competition and add more technical indicators! TYVM!

  17. Filter down further to find only stocks that have weekly options.

    Weekly options are becoming more important to me. I'd like to see the ability to Unisearch by filtering optionable stocks that have weekly contacts available.

  18. Create new Stop Loss option: Price falling below (SMA, EMA, or WMA)

    I would like to have a new Stop Loss option where you can select a particular SMA, EMA, or WMA. When the Stock Price falls below that moving average, then you exit that position.
    This should be a pretty easy implementation and would help a lot.

  19. Add Protrader search for MACD crossing zero line

    Present search finds MACD crossing signal line. Adding a search for MACD crossing the zero line would help identify the beginning of MACD bullish region.

  20. Stop Loss with % Gain and Trailing % Loss

    I would like the ability to selct a Stop Loss that combines a %Gain with a Trailing % Loss v. an absolute % Loss.
