  3. Add a stock to a watchlist directly from a stock graph

    When scrolling through a list of graphed stock charts, such as from a watchlist, stock viewer, a unisearch, etc, it would be very helpful and a time saver to be able to right click in the graph or otherwise have a tab to click on that would allow me to add that stock to a selected watchlist.

  5. Add Big 4 Index ETFs (DIA,SPY,QQQ,IWM) and Big 4 Index Contra ETFs (DOG,SH,PSQ,RWM) to Back Test "Search" criteria: B-test those alone

    I want to back test using just the Big 4 Indexes for equal $ investment in each on Market Timing UP signals (C/Call, DEW, GLB/RT) and close/change to Big 4 Index contras on Down signals. This should provide better returns than "Buy and Hold" SPY alone with very few transactions, and no margin required. Good for those who have little time for VV tools. Set up auto timer portfolio and act on alerts.

  8. option of log & % gain on the Y axis

    display % gain on the Y axis so that you can scroll thru the custom lists and see the overall growth by timeframe. think or swim & yahoo do but cant scroll thru personal watch lists. Would be a nice great feature.
    I posted this years ago and not the only one and seen no action.

    there is room for lots of chart enhancements but that would be so important.

  12. Modify Stochastics in Unisearch toallow different timeframes

    Dr. David Paul has recently promoted a technique of finding stochastic crossovers below 20 simultaneously on 8-day, 8-week and 8-month charts. This is not possible with Unisearch at the moment and the workaround I was proposed is unsatisfying.

    I would like the ability to create my own custom market timing system based on things such at BSR and MTI. The ability to use this custom market timing signal in a backtest would be fantastic.

  14. insider trading and short interest should factor into RS calculation

    Include insider trading and short interest as criteria in establishing relative safety. For example, Silicon Valley Bank's RS gradually dropped as it approached bankruptcy but its RS would have dropped much faster if insider trading and short interest were included as factors in VectorVest's RS formula.

  15. Send receipt for subscriber's renewal payment to their email address for convenient record keeping at tax time.

    The .pdf invoice listed in the Tools tab doesn't include any other invoiced charges or credits, and thus may not accurately reflect the net annual cost of a VV subscription. Also, the subscriber has to remember to check the VV Tools tab to review their costs, rather than having them show up in their email inbox alongside expenses for other tax-deductible items.

  16. Derby 1 Day & 5 Day Calculation Process

    The 1 day Derby and 5 day Derby winners are not calculated correctly (in my opinion). The 1 day Derby winner should be based on the current day, e.g. buy at the open of that day and sell at the close of that day.

    As it is now the end of the previous day is used to calculate the 1 day (and I expect as well the 5 day) Derby winners. This is not accurate as it is 1 day of trading plus aftermarket. There can be an enormous difference in the performance because gapping between the close of the…

  17. home page gadget with indicator on VVC

    Home page gadget with Graph Layout applied to VVC or to our preferred stock or index - We should be able to add a gadget that will have the VVC charted on an inraday time frame we select and with a Graph Layout we select applied. That would enable us to monitor the VVC, index or stock intraday to know when timing is right to place daytrades or scalping trades.

  19. HOLD needs added to Graphing with MA options

    Just as we can graph MA options for the SELL price, we need to have the ability to do the same with the HOLD price. I feel like with it we possibly can improve on the NPI graphing decision making tool. It could possibly ad better decision points to the sell side of the equation.

    Be able to search for stocks in protrader where the MACD histogram goes from Negative to positive. Plus with a 40 day MA(RT) > 1 and the 5 day MA (RT) > 40 day MA(RT). This would be so good.
