The secret behind the X all comes down to a formula...
Can VV create the formula described below on a VV graph?
(from Money Morning ad) as this looks like something VV should offer their subscribersThe secret behind the X all comes down to a formula...
Here it is.
You take the number of periods for the stock, you subtract the number of periods since that stock hit its highest high – you then divide that by the number of periods again.
And finally, you multiply that answer by 100.That's simply the adjustable window of time the formula uses to determine the strength of both momentum and gravity.

Track preferred shares. Some offer excellent returns such as TransCanada Pipelines 5.60% Series U Preferred Shares (TCA.PR.X)
Preferred shares can offer excellent returns such as TransCanada Pipelines 5.60% Series U Preferred Shares (TCA.PR.X) This is a straight perpetual, running yield 5.46 percent which is well above the 4-4.25 percent yield on 30-year TRP bonds, and the 3.8 percent yield on the common. TCA.PR.X is callable next October at 50.00, gives a yield to call of 3.92 percent - which is well above the 1.4 percent on GICs and 1.5 percent on 1-year TRP bonds.

Regression
I used Stochastic and MACD lots and they are very helpful. Is that possible if you can add Regression also?

in your portfolios, add the ability to buy and sell fractions of shares so charts will clearly reflect stock splits and reverse splits
Recently, I bought TZA on 9/2, sold half the position on 9/28, TZA reverse split 1 for 4 on 10/1, I sold remaining half position after the split on 10/1, and the portfolio chart for VectorVest now shows a huge spike in the portfolio performance which does not go away; end result the chart does not properly reflect the portfolio performance and value and I cannot edit it to fix it without the ability to buy and sell half shares

Add ">" stop to VST and RT and the ability to have conditional stops such as either VST < .7 or RT > 1.5.
This allows for profit targets rather than only trailing stops. The % gain/loss allows for conditional stops either a stop-loss or % gain objective. A ">" sign for VST and RT would allow for a upside target such as RT > 1.45. Conditional stops, like % gain and loss, would allow as an example a VST < .7 or VST > 1.5. One could even make it conditional on two separate indicators such as 10% Trailing Stop or RT > 1.6.

need a protrader that will find stocks/etfs currently within 3-5 percent of all time historical highs and lows of rt
Vectorvest would be a much more reliable system if you could buy at historical rt lows and sell at historical rt highs because the historical rt highs and lows (even if you go out 10 years) particularly with etfs all form a nice range. These historical rt highs and lows repeat themselves time and time again and create a way to "see the future"
For example rt in spy write now is 123. For example rt highs with spy range from 139 (one time) and most of the rt highs range at a median of 123.5 maxing out at 126.…1 vote -
Enable unisearch criteria to include VVC price, VVC RT and VVC value simple andweighted moving averages.
The SOTW for 8-10-2012 "Improving the Green Light Buyer with an RT Kicker." introduces using VVC RT simple moving average crossover requirement to determine if a green light is valid to buy stocks.
This is akin to what I have been studying using VVC Price moving averages to tell when to use the C/Up signals and when to ignore them.
For example in down markets it seems to make great sense to ignore a C/Up when the VVC Price 160 day MA is trending down until it begins recovering.
Also it seems valid to wait until the VVC Price 45…5 votes -
Include Thomson Reuters/Future Super Australia Fossil Free Index and the Thomson Reuters/Future Super Australia Sustainable Leaders Index
The Thomson Reuters/Future Super Australia Fossil Free Index and the Thomson Reuters/Future Super Australia Sustainable Leaders Index have been designed to give investors improved transparency around ASX-listed companies’ sustainability credentials. These would be a good addition to Vector Vest. Ideally as a figure in a column or a search filter so that high/low scores can be evaluated as a fundamental indicator.

The Ability to Close a Portion of a Position
After you open a position, the only choice is to close the entire position. It would be great to have the ability to close a portion of the position. I will often sell a portion of an open position to lock in some profit and then sell more of the position as it continues to rise (or fall) based on my target criteria.

Allow "stop-limit order" directly from Trade King
Trade King platform has ability to place "stop-limit order" directly. Cannot do that through the Vector Vest Order Ticket. If VV is linking to Trade King why not simply adopt the order entry scheme used by Trade King?

A search for gapping up unfilled gap, basing for weeks, and find these stocks with a 40% gain in volume in 50 day ExMA
I want to find stocks that have been basing for several weeks with gap up that is unfilled. With a 50 ExMA that has atleast a 40% increase in volume over the volume for the day.
