2. Allow Saved Searches to be used as a search parameter in a search

   When building searches in Unisearch, sometimes you want to create a search that uses search parameters found in other searches. Rather than having to copy those parameters into the new search it would be useful to be able to include that search as a parameter in the new search.

   The Parameter would be "saved search"
   The operator would be = or <>
   The value would the name of the search

   This would permit the ability to combine targeted searches. For example, you could create a search looking for growth stocks and a search looking for value stocks. Creating a search that includes

   Date of Search, Saved Search, =, Growth
   Date of Search, Saved Search, =, Value

   the results would find any stocks that would be found in both searches.

   Date of Search, Saved Search, =, Growth
   Date of Search, Saved Search, <>, Value

   the result would return stocks that are unique to the Growth search (In the Growth search and not in the value search)

   Previously on the "VV university page of Strategies OTD" More than 2.5 Strategies could be listed per screen by compressing the info tiles to say 4 or 5 Tles per screen. This cannot be accomplished with the current version of VV. Coild you please reinstate this facility.

5. Text Alerts from Vector Vest too wordy

   The email alerts from VV take up too much room. The idea is to tell the user what is going on. Instead of saying (Split adjusted) every time it should be known that (SA) means that. Contained in watchlist ......my name I used, just say WList .....may name I used. MacD crossed above signal line is good with the ticker. XLF has met the criteria for UP MacD at price of 14.84 could be reduced to say " XLF - MACD up @ 14.84 - this is right to the point. It would be helpful to add the buy or hold signal for the stock too.

   For example here is what I would want to see:
   XLF MACD UP XPOS @14.84 (SA) R (rated) "BUY" Wlist My list name

   I rely on these signals and it is important

6. Lack of "stickiness" in Derby view and other parts of the program is very annoying.

   I am trying out the Derby and I am not sure I will keep it because the concept of stickiness is lost in VV. Stickiness means that when I move window over to see something (the minigraphs block the gain/losss view of the stocks), I expect that when I go look at another unisearch that the settings that I just made will be sticky and they are not. Detaching the graph and minimising it will not make it go away as this is also not sticky.

   VV needs to be re-written with stickiness in mind. Thanks.

10. Enable Derby for Vectovest 7 Intraday Users as Adds On

    I would like to see Derby being offered as Adds On for VV Intraday Users. It can be 15 min delayed. You could charge it as any VV Adds On and it would continue to be free for VV RealTime Users.
    I am not a day trader, but still would like to use Derby whenever I need. If it cannot be offered for free for VV Intraday Users, then at least charge it as Adds on with the 15 min delayed.

13. In Trade History option to use dollar cost average

    It would be really nice to have an option to use dollar cost averaging instead of first in first out.

    Right now I sell all then buy back less the trade I sold and edit in log to add on profit or loss.

    When I do a lot of trading in one stock it gets complicated.

    This would be helpful to a lot of people.

17. Intraday Graphs in HK

    for those of us who daytrade as well as long term trade, we sometimes access to intraday graphs of the shares.

    for example- for any share, we should be able to pick any recent historic date, and see the intraday graph of that date, for a given share.
    (e.g.for hong kong shares, if I wanted to see an intraday graph of a share on july 8th, then the intraday graph from 9.30am to 4pm, should be visible , for that date of july 8th.

    that way I can analyse intraday grpahs of most dates in recent history).

    if u could map options and warrants onto the same graph as the underlying share (for intraday graphs as well), that would be even better

18. on the Viewers, need a column which expresses the daily range as a PERCENTAGE as well ,not just as a numerical figure only.

    the viewers all have a column which shows the % change of price from todays closing , comapred to yestrdays closing. - thats fine.

    1. however - i also need a colum which shows the % change in price from THE MORNINGS OPENING, to the closing of the day. is it possible to insert
       this extra column as well??

    2. the "range" for each share, is mentioned as a numerical figure . i need the range also expressed as a % of the price.
       
       (e.g. if a $50 share had a range of the day which was say $2.50, the veiwers show this as "$2.50" in the range column. however i need it expressed as a % as well, in this case it would be " 5%". )

    this is important as when i want to search for shares which are more volatilie than others, i need to get my calculator , read the range of the day, and then divide it by the price, to get the %, and then i need to do this for each and every share, to figure out which shares have higher intraday volaitlity compared to others.

    if the range could be expressed as a % of the price as well, it would save a lot of time and trouble, as i can just at a glance, look for those shares which have higher ranges , percentages wise.
