  1. Allow search for new 52-Week High

    Currently in Unisearch we can perform search for new Hgih. I think it would be useful to be able to search for near 52-week hgihs as well seen as many stocks are off their all time high in the current market.

  2. Log setting is not retained

    Although log is checked in graph settings charts come up as arithmetic and when log button is selected on a chart the setting is not retained after the chart has been viewed a few times.

    This is an irritating bug.

  3. Custom Field Builder to allow day specific parameters

    When building custom field, allow day specific parameters (such as price, volume) to be used in the formula. Example: UniSearch 'Small Fry', ability to define a custom field based on current-actual-price divided by original-date/time-price. The original-date/time-price is an existing field in the displayed result already.

  8. The function 'annualised return per share' needs adding to the portfolio section.

    Buying individual shares during the year it is difficult to see the comparable return per share. By annualising the return per share you can compare performance at a glance. The data for this formula is already there eg
    (Current Price/Bought Price times 100) times (number of days share held/365)

  10. Backtest test name field could be longer

    I'm finding the name field for each back test to be too short (at 50 characters). That probably seems like a good number of characters but when trying to organize my tests (which accumulate quite fast even without auto tester) I find I'm running out of characters.

  12. More concise SMS Alert format: AAPL *buy* Long 62 shares @ $550.45 in A-Rated (<-portfolio name)(No subject!)

    To view all pertinent information from a smart phone's banner alert that a new sms message has arrived, the sms needs to be very concise so that all info is viewable immediately. There is no need to include a subject because It uses 5 characters + the portfolio name, which shoves the most important information off the viewable banner.

  13. Provide best Contra ETF search in the new CC Sure Fire Success Strategies

    I would like to see Contra ETFs and Leveraged Contra ETFs included in the backtesting setups for the 2014 Confirmed Call Sure Fire Success series. This would allow use in IRA accounts. My Backtest results using Leveraged Contra ETFs as a substitute for the Short strategies have yield approximately 3% improvements in % Gain, ARR, and DrawDn percentages.

  14. When searching from a certain date the right hand of the newly opened graphs should be at that date for the right edge.

    This allows for those using visual criteria such as Midas Touch for selecting stocks to not be influenced by seeing ahead.

  18. Identify Rising and Falling MAs

    I would like to be able to buy stocks crossing a RISING MA and sell stocks crossing a FALLING MA. I can see no way to do that in VV6, VV7 or ProTrader. Something simple like MA Day 1>/< MA Day-1 would great.

  20. Add stops criteria (exit) based on technical analysis such as DPO, MACD, etc..

    I like to see VVC 7.0 Realtime, Pro Trader and Simulator have additional Stops criteria based on Technical Analysis such as DPO, MACD, MA, and/or popular signal.
