Add a simple button to export/import graph layouts. Could be used to quickly share a layout with other VV users.

Export/Import of Backtest Strategy Ideas
By allowing the export and import of backtest strategies would these strategies be shared or just archived.
The same successful backtest strategy could be used on one or more VV regions (UK, Europe, Australia, Canada).
These backtest strategies could be posted in a separate area (perhaps this forum) for other users to use and improve upon.

Revamp the whole interface, bring it up to date fast.
I'm a trial user, wondering whether to subscribe. I see that the UI is way out of date. It looks old, it feels old, it performs like a geriatric.
It's amazing that functions that should be totally intuitive (e.g. edit a portfolio transaction) have to researched on Google to discover how to do it.
And why isn't there a MacOS version or a web paged version?
My idea? Revamp the whole interface, bring it up to date fast.1 vote -

Posting Interest can be improved
When I post a dividend I can name the company that paid it. However when I post an interest payment from a REIT or some other company I cannot post who paid it

GRAPHS UNDER CONTROL PANEL HAVE VV GRAPH IN A FOLDER CALL VV. YOU GRAPHS CAN BE SAVE IN A FOLDER YOU CREATE. YOU CAN HAVE MANY FOLDERS LIKE UNISEARCH.

Parameter organize
Parameter reorder - When creating or editing a search, it would be nice to be able to reorganize the parameters so that if I enter a new parameter at the bottom of the list but would like it to appear higher on the list, I could grab it and drag it up to a position higher in the list of parameters.

Alarmed Line in graphs/Charts
be able to draw an Alarm line at any angle that when the latest (mid price or close) crosses a line that has been drawn on the char/graph.
subsequent alerts will be issued if the price moves back across the line again - either on the same day , or a later day.

Can't build EMA(RT) or WMA(RT)
I can access or build "50 Day MA(RT)" in custom field but can't for EMA(RT) and WMA(RT)

Display the Slope of a Trendline
Display the slope of a Trendline that you draw on a stock chart, in percent /year or percent /month. This is one of the main criteria that I use when deciding what to buy. You can see visually if the price is rising smoothly, but is it rising 10%/month or 30% ? This is a standard feature on TC2000 and other charting systems. If VectorVest had this, then I wouldn't have to subscribe to two systems :).

pdf documentation for other add on modules available for VV7
You have pdf quickstart documents explaining ProTrader and Derby modules under the Training tab. Where or why haven't the other modules been backed up by quickstart documents instead of videos only? I would like to have the ProfitLocker Pro module quickstart quide in pdf format for all the Stops and Variations explained while setting up Portfolio Genius.

My question is with Viewers and UniSearch, once we run the search on UniSearch or open a Viewer, will NEW stocks automatically show up if newer ones that were not on the original list percolates to the top of the list? OR, do we have to continually RUN the search to get new stocks?
This assumes a realtime connection.
Ok...is this something you could ask devs to consider allowing where they do not have to reload? Perhaps a toggle button that we could click to all new stocks to to populate/stream in without reloading for Viewers and UniSearch?…

Add the ability for an Earnings Date column for personal watch lists under the Viewers tab
Currently, the Earnings Date column is only available if I add my watch list stocks to a Portfolio, which is super inconvenient when sorting watch lists.

I use portfolio historic daily % G/L (end of day) for several statistical analysis between portfolios and when I combined several portfolio performance parameters. Currently, I have to get every day % G/L (end of day) from quick folio to calculate daily % G/L.
