Need to have option to adjust for dividends in charts as well as analyses
Prices in VV are currently not adjusted for dividends. Hence, all analyses and backtesting are currently missing out this important component.
Unfortunately, there is also no setting we can toggle to turn on this adjustment.
There are plenty of lousy chart patterns in VV that turned out to be nice up trending and high CI stocks after adjusting for dividends. I now have to scan for these stocks outside of VV using a separate charting platform.
Wouldn’t it be great if we can get VV to screen these out and have dividends factored into backtesting?

Include time frame when saving or creating graph layouts.
When saving a graph layout include the selected time time frame parameter for that layout.

important watchlist for everyone retired
I have developed a watchlist where none of the stocks have lost as much as 10% in ten years. This would be good for buy and hold retirees that fear big yearly losses. Not sure how to get it to you for interested parties to use.I call it 10 yr low loss dividend stocks.

Additional Derby Search Tab Uses
Longer term investment strategies also have derby like features. Over time the best of the best searches within a category vary. Include separate Prudent,Conservative,Aggressive.,& Speculative Searches names to Derby Search Tab to identify leading current strategy in each category and their rising stocks.for tailored stock selection

time stop
A time-stop is the point in time when you will sell the stock if it does not rise or decline as expected. Adding a time stop as a secondary stop criteria (along with existing stops such as Gain/Loss, ProfitLocker, etc.) would be beneficial in developing trading systems. Sort Alphapetically by Default
The default sort order for portfolios, well there doesn't seem to be any. Even customer service doesn't know. Alphabetically would be nice, or by VST Descending. It is rare that anyone wants to sort ascending, but that is the default sort order when clicking a heading on any column. Please change the default sort to descending with clicking on a column header.

Add Maximum Price per Share to Derby filters
Can you add an upper limit to the Derby Settings box where we can limit the maximum price of the stocks that are returned? I can't afford a $1,500 per share stock.

Show the EPS line as Green when above zero and Red when below zero
The EPS line is difficult to determine when its above or below zero.
There is a tiny negative dash for negative EPS. Be a lot easier if it was Green above zero and Red below.2 votes -
Have the Confirmed Call arrows a different color then the Green Light Buyer arrows
You can not tell which arrows are the Confirmed Call arrows when viewing a graph in the Green Light Buyer mode. You have to switch back and forth between the two modes to determine where the Confirmed Call arrows are located on the Green Light Buyers mode.

Stock Up/Down Ratio
Stock Up/Down Ratio which compares the total volume on UP days to the total volume on DOWN days over the past 50 sessions.
A ratio GREATER than 1.0 indicates a positive demand for shares.
This would be an excellent indicator to add to the VectorVest inventory.2 votes -

Manually increment dates for Unisearches
Add increment / decrement arrows to the Unisearch date with automatic RUN when the date changes. Now it is a multiple step process to run a sequential date series of Unisearches and watch how the results of the search change.

BackTest based on actual Portfolio holdings
BackTest while using Portfolio inputs. Need capability to use the entered data from portfolio to run tests from different time periods. Meaning if my portfolio was built in 2010 - 2012, I want to test various time period combinations from 2010 to present using actual purchased data, not generic inputs. This keeps my backtest results more accurate based on current asset weighting.

Allow saving of Home Page setup
I currently have VV EOD and signed up for a trial of the IntraDay service. When I logged out and back in to activate, my Home Page had been reset to the default settings, and it took me over a half hour to set it all back up the way I like it. So, please either allow saving our settings, or at the very least give us a heads up that that will happen so we're not shocked and frustrated when we're faced with it.

Filtering 52 week highs
I would like to filter out stocks that are at (or near) 52 week highs. I was told that the system does not give the 52 week high information. It sounded very odd to hear that when you have all the data necessary and have demonstrated that you could build a powerful system.
