Open/ Close
In Vectorvest 6 you had the option to buy at the open and sell at the close, or buy at the close and sell at the open, etc.
In Vestorvest 7 you must buy and sell at the same time, buy/sell at close, buy/sell at open.
Is it possible to have the VV6 flexibility put into VV7 ? I really need it for the type of backtesting I do.

Show the OHLC graph as red and green candlesticks
I find this style of graph easier to read at a glance than trying to see which side of the bar the open and close is on.

Increase monitor space.
VV could free one line of the monitor if ALERTS & VV Quickstart videos was moved up next to Tools.

DEW system for backtest using user specified symbol with VVC as default
Currently the Detrended price oscillator and moving average for the VVC is used in backtesting. It would be great to have this as a default, but be able as a user to override this and enter IWM if I am testing a small cap strategy, or GDX if I am testing a strategy that focuses on precious metals stocks. Let me pick a symbol for the DEW entry/exits that represents the class of stocks my strategy is working with!

resistance roll-over price "on top"
' love the support & resistance levels... however, the resistance price (as you roll mouse over the resistance line) does not come out on top...and is sometimes unreadable... should be a very, very easy fix...

Display MTI in 3 Decimals
There are often times when the MTI moves in a narrow range, and it would be nice to see the 3rd decimal point displayed for the MTI on the VectorVest views.

Bulk Loading Data
To Whom It May Concern:
I'm a new customer at Vestor Vest and have found the program really helpful and easy to use with the exception of one aspect. Loading my existing portfolios(s) and maintaining them.
I would like to bring my existing accounts up-to-date as a portfolio in VV but it has been painful. I want to mirror my accounts as a portfolio 100% by adding all transactions. With my main portfolio/IRA Account I must added 250 Dividend Transactions alone. This is painful and very time consuming.
Is there a way to bulk load Dividend Transactions, Interest Payments, and…

Calculated Turnover for Back-Test or Portfolio
It would be useful, especially for those who don't want to flip stocks often, to include a "turnover" calculation as part of a Back-Test.
While this can be approximated by the number of trades, the duration of the test is also a factor. 10 trades over 100 days is very different from 10 trades over 20 days.
If there is no obvious turnover calculation, an "average days held", for all positions taken during the test, would suffice.
Max draw-down is a measure of how much pain one may have to tolerate. A turnover measure would be a measure of portfolio…

Need to be able to provide ranges on Price and Volume, not just a lower limit.
The current settings generate too many alerts for stocks that are not of interest.
