Would be nice to have columns with rate of change of RT or VST
In a fast rising market, in the gold sector for instance----RT and VST change quite fast intraday. If a column of the Rate of Change of these two indicators was displayed-----Real Time Daytrading may be quite a bit more successful!

Make the UK version as good as the US version
I would like to see the UK version of VV be more like the US version. Quite a lot of the searches and information in the US version are not available in the UK. Things like the Sure-Fire Success Action Plan on the Market Timing page are not available. Videos and Webinars are all geared for the US market. We pay the same subscription rate as the US but however good VV is for the UK it is still not as good as the US version. We should get just as good a product.

I am now about 30 days since working with Vector Vest and am excited about the possibilities.
However, it is precisely the diversity of the program my problem.
I get all the pieces together is very difficult.
Is there a kind of org / plan how to put together the different parts of the program.
I will continue to work on VectorVest but it would be nice if I could get some help.Best Regards

Backtests should include the subscription costs of VectorVest version and plug-ins being used.
Commissions are accounted for in VV back testing, but not the cost of using the VV data. The last webinar had a 5 1/2 year backtest w/ $4500 worth of commissions, but no impact on results from VV costs of anywhere from $3000 to over $12000 depending on version and plug-ins. Could these costs be added to the Back Tester?

add field for institutional ownership to show % shares held by mutual funds, pension plans, etc.
the % of shares held by large investors such as pension funds, mutual funds, etc can be important in stock movement. consider adding this info as a field in portfolios , watchlists, searches, etc. and/r in the search criteria.

I would like the auto tester to give a choice to autom add funds to any green light you're using, whether it's confirmed calls etc., to see how it would work out for periods of time. Say I'm using the conf calls, and I started my portf with 10G, when I'm setting the backtest, I'd like the system to be able to add $200 or whatever amount of your choice or no amount to whenever a green light confirmed call came, to see how that would play out over a period of time. Buying top 5 vst stocks on any day of the year,thru all market conditions,up or down ,till they hit stop loss ,a new strategy and compare it with all other strategies by quick sims .Revisiting this strategy to see the results.
Request to DR.D to have this strategy worked on by his staff please.

Reduce the standard deviation value of Bollinger Bands
Many studys show Bollinger Bands with standard deviation of .7 or less

ATR custom field
Include more ProTrader parameters in the custom field builder. For example, I would like to divide current price by the 10d ATR. Many more useful searches could be created if all the VV standard fields could be utilized in the custom field builder it, and I would buy it.

Put graph button in portfolio
I'd like to see the same Graph 'Top X', 'Selected', and 'All' button in our portfolio view so that we can quickly view graphs of all the stocks within our portolio.

creation custom field to include ProTrader technical indicators
It would allow much more powerful searches if Custom Field Builder allow to include all available ProTrader indicators, including the possiblity of configuring their parameters.

Add delisted and bought out stocks
Vectorvest does not contain historical information for stocks that we're traded but are now delisted. For example, try to find circut city (CC) in the historical database. For backtesting purposes it seems that this would be pertinent info. For example, screens that were run 5 years ago would show different results than the same screens run over the same time period today because today's database no longer contains some of those stocks.

Stop Loss with % Gain and Trailing % Loss
I would like the ability to selct a Stop Loss that combines a %Gain with a Trailing % Loss v. an absolute % Loss.
