Display the current stop loss price in the stock list grid for stocks in a portfolio. For example, I have a portfolio set up with trailing stops. In the stock list displayed for that portfolio I need a calculator to calculate my stop loss price if I remember what percentage I put in. So also display on the list the stop loss percent.. If I display a chart for that stock, indicate my purchase price, trailing stop, and target price on the chart.
It would also be useful to be able to set different trailing stop percentages for different stocks.…

access stock news and other context menu items by symbol
similar to the Quick Lookup on the home page...need a way to quickly access other right button context menu items by entering the equity symbol. currently have to go to the viewer...find the equity and then right button click to jump to news and other items not currently found on the home page left banner menu.

In comparing VV portfolio entries to actual brokerage account, provide means to list trades specific to a particular stock for accuracy.
If one is an active trader, not necessarily a day trader, entering every single cash entry / withdrawal / purchase and sale of stock, dividends paid and reinvested is really laborious. It is extraordinarily difficult to be accurate. If we are not able to import our actual brokerage records in to VV7, provide us with the means to list all entries pertinent to a specific symbol so that when we are attempting to balance accounts between VV7 and brokerage, we can readily see only entries pertaining to a specific symbol. add the ability to export portfolios to other VectorVest users
It would be great if there was a way you could export your portfolios and import them into another VectorVest user's account.
For example, my friend and I both use RealTime, and would like to share our portfolio ideas. However, it would be a little time consuming to have to re-enter all the parameters by hand. It would be great if I could export the portfolio from my RealTime and allow him to import it into his.

Run the Sample Portfolios with real money
Run the sample portfolios with real money -- which should be a money maker given the paper-trading results. By doing so and having the results audited, you'd have the best marketing tool possible . . . and get away from the penny stock strategies I suspect.

Assign ETFs an Industry, Sector and/or Style
Assign ETFs by industry, sector and or style in a column so when we screen we are not reteiving duplicates from the different ETF providers.

Add Timing Market column when printing backtests list
Since we can only print all of our backtests it would be nice to see what market timing was used for each test. Currently this market timing column does not show up when printing.

Account for Stock Volatility
On Monday 2/22 one of the top rated VST stocks was AMED.
Even though AMED has a high VST rating. I am cautious of it because of the (wild swings) the volatility in price.
I would like to recommend that this VOLATILITY in price for each stock be a very significant component in your valuation for each stock.4 votes -

This may be quite sophisticated, but possible; please show to what strategy/ies, each stock belongs.
It would also be good to know what is the ranking of each stock in any given strategy or strategies. For some stocks the results may be very solid and consistent, and for others the results may be confusing and contradictory. In boths cases it is good to know.

University Videos.
I tried to watch the videos in the University section but I could not see everything that was going on, the picture was to big & I could not see the mouse cursor & clicks off to the sides. Jeremy said to check the Display in Control panel, I did & it is 100 where he said it should be. Any suggestions?

Close out position on same day as it reaches stop loss not the next opening
This makes a HUGE difference in overall performance over time. In the real world, we place stop losses so that we are taken out as quickly as possible and would not arbitrarily wait until the next morning before acting.

Allow user to plot moving averages of indicators such as momentum
I would like to be able to see a crossover of the indicator and the moving average of the indicator.

Remember the symbol when switch from Performance Graph to Stock Graph in Real Time
The EOD version does not require typing the stock symbol again when switching between the Performance Graph to another Graph, but in Real Time we must type the symbol again after leaving the Performance Graph.

Make a change to %Gain/(loss) Stop criteria by allowing a stop loss in the loss criteria.
Right now if I enter 50/10 for gain/loss, I could potentially have a 60% drawdown. By allowing to distinguish between a loss from purchase price or a moving stop loss, I could navigate a severe stock correction.
