stop Criteria
I suggest to add a new stop to the backtester : a comination of X% gain and y% trailing loss stop( as opposed to regular loss) , to be triggered based on whichever incurs first.

It would be nice if while viewing a graph with the lines etc If I could just hit the left or right arrow key to move one day back or forward
While analyzing a graph, (with vertical and horizontal lines that move with the mouse......it would be VERY NICE if I could tap the left or right arrow to move back one day, or forward one day.

Improve print layout in VV-7 portfolios. Old VV has better print layout
When you try to to print a model or custom portfolio, the print lay out is not good and there is no tool to improve. If there is , then it needs better explanation

Add Color Guard Fields to Unisearch
Specifically VVC-RT, BSR, Percent Buy,Sell, and Hold levels, and especially the MTI, as a bonus you could throw in the Value of the VVC as a field also. Just think of the strategy's possible using the MTI as one of the criteria! Thanks, Ed S.

Provide Portfolio View stock chart option in Backtest mode with the ability to manualy sell a stock if you dont like the chart-say if you see 35 day ma crossing below 50

Allow the graph to be extended forward by a month or so.
Allow the graph to be extended forward by a month or so such that you can then trend any parameter and come up with potential targets. In other words allow on the right side of the graph area for projections. Just assure the x axis is consistent.

Add Market Timing automation tools and start and finish dates to the PortFolio Manager
As it stands, the Portfolio Manager lacks the flexibility of the BackTester and consequently has limited value as a live trading management tool. To improve the usefulness of the Portfolio Manager, the Market Timing Automation tools should also be included as part of the tool kit along with start and finish dates.

Would like to see average daily price change for a sector / stock. This will help in picking stocks.
Would like to see average daily price change for a sector / stock. This will help in picking stocks that have price deltas more than an average price change. It is one of the strategies that vector vest can incoporate into the system.

QUICKLY improve the stock list in the WELCOME SCREEN.
Put the stocks in a table so that the commands GRAPH ALL and ADD TO WATCHLIST (and others) would be available.

New RT combo pair strategy to be posted
I think it's a great idea to run backtests on an RT kicker combo strategy "S&P500 Stop Asc/Contra ETFs", and list this as a model portfolio and include it in the Daily Color Guard discussion. This is important since we are not allowed to short stocks in an IRA account, but are allowed to buy contra ETFs.
