Color Guard is different on HOME and VIEWS. C/Dn Mar 14-20 on HOME, Up/Up Mar 15-20 on Views. Why the difference?
If we are to rely on market direction as listed in the Color Guard, how can it be different on the Home Screen and in the Views???? A disaster ready to occur.

Improve performance graphs by enabling display of portfolios
The old system (VV US) enabled the member to run a portfolio, perhaps based on a strategy, and then display the performance on the performance graphs. This enabled the member to inspect performance (and relative performance) of strategies during certain stages of the market cycles. For example, we hear 2013 was the best year since 1996. So, what strategy did best from 1996-Spring 1998 before the sell-off? This would be very useful and used to be a feature of the old system.

Allow both Cdn and US VV to be both open at same time
Have both Cdn and US views up at same time. I am a Portfolio Manager and hassle going in and out.

Make the Email alerts more specific to each Watchdog
The ability to stay subscribed to a Watchdog without receiving an email/text alert and to be able to specifically choose which watchdogs send email/text alerts.

VECTORVEST ISN'T RELIABLE WHEN ASSESSING INTERLISTED CANADIAN STOCKS ex. KL vs. KLGDF
No one is vetting Cdn vs. US stocks, and determining why one is a buy and the other a sell, and 1 has a value of $2 whereas the other has a value of $10

You may want to email our data manager, angie.akers@vectorvest.com, for more information. However, value is not a factor in the buy, sell, hold ratings. The ratings are rule driven and support can go into further detail on what those rules are.

There’s a watchlist for weekly option, you can add this to any unisearch by using the paramater “Filter by”, the operator “=”, then select the watchlist. If you have any trouble, support can walk you through it.

Hello, the program currently does this. Go to Viewers. Select SectorViewer. Right click on the sector. Select View Stocks in Sector.

Allow custom timing systems for back testing.
It would be great to be able to create a custom timing system to back test strategies. For example, I'd like to use an MTI moving average crossover to test various strategies.

Add Searchable Moving Averages for All Time Frames.
Real time access without this is useless. When Day Trading, decisions have to be made based on the time frame you are trading. VectorVest makes minute calculations and plots them on the charts but it only searches on Daily Moving Averages. You should be able to Search on the time period moving average you desire (i.e. Daily, Hourly, 15 Minute, 5 Minute, 1 Minute).

More entry and take profit or stop loss features
Want to be able to specify an entry price for the next day based on the close of the previous day, eg. your search has come up with a potential trade/s based on the market action at the end of a day, you want your back test to buy at that closing price the next day, if price has gapped then no trade. Also when a % gain is required to exit then when that price is reached the back test should exit at that price that gives the required % gain if price during that day has reached or…

SOME ITEMS NEVER ACCUMMULATE VOTES BECAUSE THEY ARE LOST IN THE 1500 SOME ODD ENTRIES. I AM NOT GOING TO LOOK THROUGH 1500 ITEMS TO SEE IF SOMEONE HAS ALREADY SUMBITTED THE IMPROVEMENT. MY NEW IMPROVEMENT GETS MY VOTE AND PROBABLY SORTS STRAIGHT TO THE BOTTOM OF THE LIST WHICH NO ONE WILL EVER SEE AND VOTE ON.
SIMPLE AND QUICK FIX ITEMS ARE LOST AND IGNORED.
I WANT VECTOR VEST FEEDBACK IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME, TELLING ME IT WILL OR WILL NOT BE PUT ON THE ENHANCEMENT LIST AND WHICH RELEASE IT WILL BE IN IF ACCEPTED.

online chat would be great because there are problems when I did a search for several different companies.
Quotes are not working (ie. Argan stock unavailable) even when the Co. name was tried in the search. This is a common stock and I did see it listed in the top stock areas nevertheless quoted are a problem.

Ability to choose WHICH portfolios get SMS alerts
I have many porfolios, some just to test theories, I only want SMS notifications fro my real portfolios. Right now it's all or nothing, this should be a VERY simple fix.

Protrader technical searches
It would be extremely helpful to be able to apply the protrader technical searches to Sectors & Industies (currently we can only use protrader technical to only stocks).
This way, we can select stocks from sectors or industries with corresponding strength or weakness within the groups.2 votes
