  1. It would be helpful to have a watchlist containing the stocks, ETFs, and indexes that trade weekly options and to keep it up to date.

  2. Most of the short searches I see in VectorVest create lists of stocks to short, and when you go to actually short them, they are not available. Short searches with a minimum size of 100K average volume are likely to generate lots of stock candidates which are too illiquid to short, Let us limit which searches are available to Derby so we can be sure the ones there generate higher volume stocks which are more likely to return lists of stocks which are actually shortable.

  3. I'd like to see the same Graph 'Top X', 'Selected', and 'All' button in our portfolio view so that we can quickly view graphs of all the stocks within our portolio.

  4. IT would be good to be able to add the date you put a stock into a portfolio and or watchlist, this way when you review your watchlist performance you can determin when the stock was entered into it.

  6. This new VV7 platform (both realtime and delayed) does not work from behind firewalls. So it is not very useful for working people who have corporate firewalls that block unknown network ports.
Can VV7 be made to use standard Internet protocols to get its data that way it will work for all of us?

  7. These searches are available in Unisearch Protrader End of Day but are missing from VV7 RealTime. They would be very powerful if able to be found and acted upon in Real Time.

  8. Preferred Stocks may not provide the spectacular headlines that your advertisements tend to sensationalize, but they should be be followed and utilized, especially for Retirement Portfolios. Quantumonline.com provides a great database. I am sure your system will work effective for this important aspect of portfolio diversification.

  10. Moving Averages of a stock's price are universally used by traders. Can VectorVest incorporate custom Moving Averages into the Stop Criteria? For example, I'd like to be Stopped out if price falls below its 10 ma of price.

  14. %G/L is the only stop which allows taking a profit, why? RT<1 is a great stop, if I have a 50% Gain, I don't want to wait for the RT to go below one to be left with whatever profit may still be available, I want to take the 50% profit. Same applies to every stop in the program, why allow a good profit disappear by waiting to get stopped out? Is the name of the game taking profits or getting stopped out? This of course needs to be added in portfolios and backtest

  15. There is currently no way to backup portfolios. After accidentally erasing my "live" portfolio with a back test, I was surprised to learn there is no way to make a portfolio backup! I was told by VV tech support that VV 7 does not include backup/restore functions.

  18. We can all see the Direxion ETF charts, but we can not see the chart that they are tracking. I will use this example: The FAZ tracks the Russell 1000 Financial Services. The symbol for this chart is RGUSFL, available on bloomberg's website. I would like you to provide all the charts that the Direxion ETFs track. The symbols for the underlying indexes that these ETFs track are available on the Direxion website. Please add all the charts that the bull and bear ETFs are tracking. These are some of the highest daily volume etfs available to trade, this is…

  20. A point trail looks at the current profit, for example you bought xyz at 40, it is now trading at 42, you have a 2 point profit, and you have a .75 point trail, which means if the stock dropped to 41.25 it would trigger your exit with a 1.25 profit.
