Add Portfolio Graph Options - YTD and CUSTOM in addition to EOD and Intraday
I'd like to have the ability to see my portfolio performance on a custom time period as well as YTD. If you track a portfolio for several years, you want to see how you are doing in the current year or maybe current quarter.

Add ons like Derby should also be available in the end of day version of VV as well as Realtime.

New Strategy of the Week on S&P 500/RT
Two weeks ago your strategy suggested
entering positons on the S&P 500/RT
when in a call down situation there is an
up day and a green tile in the price column of the color guard.
I would like to see an analysis when in
a call up situation there is a down day
in the trend column along with a red tile in
the price column. I did a short analysis
of the 6 call downs in the last 14 months.
In each instance there was down day in

Add " Upper Bollinger Band exceeded -SELL " signal .
VV does not seem to give much assistance in taking profits. It gives "sells" always on falling stock prices , which is exactly the opposite you want to do !! It gives a STOP (loss) , which I agree with. A simple and effective "take profits" signal is when all the daily price action is outside the upper BB. A classic example was LCM.AX on Oct 22 2013. There is also a case for "buy" where an upward trending stock falls below the lower BB, but I personally find that signal a bit hard to define. But the "sell" if…

Move the Business Description back near the top of the "Full Analysis" or separately retrieve it
Frequently retrieve a "Full Stock Analysis" just to see what a company does - particularly ETFs to determine leverage involved (2x,3x). Consider separate retrieve for business description or put it back near the top of the Full Analysis.

included channeling graphing features instead of having subscribers draw on their own
the channeling feature from protrader doesn't provide enough visual interpretation on the result returned, or what is being searched for. if this feature is included, vv users can visualize/relate better what is returned on this search. this feature is very important as we experience lot of side way trend....

Allow graph time line to extend beyond latest data date to project trend lines and trade entry point
Extending the graph time line beyond the latest data date allows me to project likely prices of stocks and indices so I can look for better trading points

BackTest Report Additional Fields(s)
Suggest add one if not two fields in BackTest Trade History Report , namely Industry and Sector . This will allow better analysis of past results of the various strategies

Include field for 'ave vol x price'
This will allow searches to exclude stocks that have insufficient volume to allow trading any day. Current field 'vol x price' is not really useful, and should be replaced with this

Using the daily "Market Timing Graph" under parameters allow the histogram to stand alone as it is now a part of the MCD perameter.
Would like to use "Histogram" standing alone and separated from the MACD tech parameter when using the Daily Market Timing graph.

When left clicking on a stock symbol in Portfolio a long list of options will appear. Color would add a quick visual orientation if only to break up the monotony of having to read each one to get where one wants to go. Imagine most people use the Charting option frequently and coloring it would make it easier to find. Perhaps coloring another selection nearer the top of the chart would be good to. Then at a glance we would know which direction to go to get what we want.

logarithmic scale
In VV6, one can change the scale on the y-axis from linear to logarithmic for the BSR and MTI. This cannot be done in VV7 and should be added
