Add Strategy to the Portfolio Summary Report
For the basic Portfolio Summary Report, the Strategy used should be added to the report, along with all the parameters of the strategy.
This will be quite helpful when comparing numerous results for both live and back testing (and eliminates having to put it within the Remarks or Title of the Portfolio).

add the "Vectorvest Composit price (VVC)" in the custom field builder e.g. VST,RT...
so that we can add a parameter of VVC movingaverage in the Unisearch tool to build a strategy search not only the individual stock has the moving average but the VVC also has it in the strategy builder. it better we can create a weighted moving average(WMA) of VVC.including adjustable days.

Add drop-down calender feature in "Tax Reports" in the Portfolio tab in VV7 to show trades from any specified date.
In Tax Reports in the VV7 Portfolios tab, you can only show trades for "Entire History" or a specific calendar year. In other countries such as Australia, their tax year is July through June so if they had the ability to select their appropriate tax year the report would be beneficial to them. The calendar feature would assist any request from a user.

Allow multiple Views Windows in VV 7
It is very handy in V.V. 6 to have multiple instances of the Views open in order to compare one date against another. While V.V. 7 allows you to detach the Views window, you cannot open another at the same time.

Use different symbol for Kicker Calls on Graphs
At present VectorVest is using solid triangles (Red and Green) for Green Light buyer, Confirm Up/Down Call and GLB/RT Kicker calls. There is no differentiation between these calls. My suggestion is to use a hollow triangle (thick border) with bullet point inside for GLB/RT Kicker call, and a just a hollow green triangle for Green Light Buyer.

Commission Entry on Trades screen
In ProGraphics version of the software I can enter the commission of the trade right on the trade entry screen. But in VectorVest 7 I have to click on Edit button and go to a different screen to enter the commission. When entering many trades for the day – the data entry becomes slower if I need to enter different commission amount for each trade.

Enable the custom field builder to calculate the difference between two custon moving averages. For example MA-RT(5) - MA-RT(15) = Difference. I want to be able to test that difference value.

View Multiple Regions Simultaneously
It would be really great to have both Cdn and USA on the same database or at least be able to login on both at the same time so I can monitor both at the same time during the day.
VV7 is just amazing as I get more familiar with it. I am a very conservative risk averse person so after three years I am slowly gaining confidence. Every month has been an adventure and the evolution of the system and the training is making my ability to subsidize my earning more risk efficient. VV7 has made my retirement exciting…2 votes
