Use ASX Codes/Tickers for Stocks & Indices Rather than Yahoo Codes Please
Use ASX Codes for Stocks & Indices Please
Can VectorVest please consider using ASX codes/tickers for stocks and indicies in the Australian Market rather than forcing subscribers to use Yahoo style suffixes. For example use the asc code/ticker BHP rather than the VV code/ticker of BHP.AX for all stocks and ASX index codes such as XAO rather than the Yahho convention of ^AORD.
Having to deal with the VV suffix if portfolios or watchlists are being imported/exported to and from VV is very tedious and time consuming.

Give option for Portfolio Stock lists to be placed on Home Page.
I would love to be able to have not only a portfolio graph on my home page but a stock list that corresponds to that graph there also. And have them linked so when I change a portfolio graph the list changes with it.

The BSR needs to be reconfigured
The BSR needs to be reconfigured to eliminate inaccuracy and distortion caused by double counting. Stocks within ETFs and Market Industries are counted twice. Similarly, stocks within Contra ETFs are counted inversely. The simple solution is to eliminate all ETFs and all securities within Market industries from the BSR calculation.

Regular Analysis of Industry/Sector Rotation by VV w/searches = stocks you can swing trade days/wks
Regular Analysis(in daily views) of Industry/Sector Rotation by VectorVest team with searches yielding solid stocks you can swing trade for days or weeks. Less time should be spent on strategies yeilding jumpy $1-$2 stocks that few would be comfortable putting serious money into.

Add audible alerts, e.g. police siren, which sounds when my stock reaches it's stop value. This would help when I'm away from my computer.
Today I was at my PC doing some work in Microsoft Word. I had Vectorvest 7 open on my desktop BUT minimized whilst I was editing my Word document..
I then maximised Vectorvest and discovered the stock had dropped by 48% literally in the space of 20 minutes. Luckily I was able to sell and lost only $22.
This scenario could have been a huge disaster had I been heavily invested in the stock. Had there been an audio alarm I would have been able to sell the stock in time and still make a profit.

Pick from the list of graphed stocks after a graph all
After creating a graph of stocks from the "Graph All" button, the only way to go through the stocks is to use the scroll bar. This makes it very difficult to look through the stocks if you want to jump to a specific stock.
I would like at a minimum to be able to drop down a list of stocks available in the graph list to be able to jump directly to that stock. Aditionally it would be great to have other improvements to the navigation such as the ability to resort.

Be able to add a group of preset paramenters - like volume, exchange and price range with a click of a mouse, rather than manually adding them each time you try a new modified search.

ALLOW FOR AUTOMATIC IRA CONTRIBUTIONS
Hi
My 29-year-old daughter wants to self-direct her small IRA. Her question posed to me was what kind of results could she anticipate if she made bi-weekly contributions to her IRA account. Since she will be contributing to her account for the next 30 years that new money should make a significant difference. I couldn’t help her with that question since the back tester doesn’t accommodate automatic contributions

Import and graph up (green) and dn (red) dates from my own timers to display on VV Graphs
I would like to be able to import Up (green) / Dn (red) signals and dates, and view them on the graphs exactly like the C/Up and C/Dn signals that we can see now, using Markers > Market Timing Dates. I know it can be done, as we can import our signals into the Simulator using .CSV files, so why not into Pro Graphics?

Communications with customers
Yolanda, your representative & I suggest: Alert customers via email or text message of a confirmed "Up or Down" in the market. People are always on the move and can't check their computers throughout the day.

In order to Cherry Pick, allow for the backtester to halt when portfolio loses a position.
To backtest the "Cherry Picking with CI Up and Comers" SOTW, the backtester would need to halt when the number of positions < the normal portfolio size. Cherry Picking is a GREAT method that VV does not currently support. VV would create a tremendous marketing win by publishing the incredible gains possible using the above-mentioned SOTW.

WHY IS THE RT KICKER...
NOT being shown across all three data bases...i.e., the VVC6(online version), the DESKTOP(for use with Simulator/Variator), and only showing on VVC7 (real time)...
Would like to see if the RT list can also be added to the SIMULATOR list of pre set VVC dates...
Further, are there any plans to scrub the three data bases so the results(end of day) match when doing the exact same search...but get different results?
