  1. SMS Alerts for Canadian Clients using the American Market

Currently, VectorVest only allows SMS Alerts for American carriers for the American market. SMS alerts are not available for Canadian clients using the American market.

Please implement a single number through your phone/internet provider for Canadian Clients using the American Market. We currently have the ability to receive email alerts, but email alerts are not timely and are not efficient/effective when the market changes so quickly.

    Thanks so much!!

  2. I have tried 3 month portfolio refresh at Trading Central. It produces great results. I believe if we can rebalance or refresh (sell everything and buy fresh from the search) after a given period (say 3 months, 6 month, 1 year etc.) rather than holding a stock till its stoploss, it'll give extra strategies to test and find better ones.

  3. Nowadays Artificial Intelligence is all around is in the form of Machine Learning based techniques. These are essentially a form of 'classifier' that allows us to select a more precisely from a set of candidates using a set of weighted factors that are generated by iterative computations. Vectorvest databases already have a set of factors (e.g. Price, Value, RV, RS, RT, VST, CI, GRT etc. etc.) and it already has an engine for performing just one 'experiment' at a time - the backtesting engine. 'The Derby' is a form of real-time experimentation but it needs 'Supervision'. If the Vectorvest database…

  5. When I have backtested and converted a strategy to a portfolio, allowing the Genius to run it, I am flying blind until the tool tells me to sell. I want to be able to monitor the progress of each stock without pulling out my calculator. The Genius has this information, or it wouldn’t be able to do what it does. Can you please add fields for both the Targeted Profit Price and the Exit Price for the loss limit we’ve set to the fields list for inclusion in our layout?

  8. When in the derby and clicking on the print button, it does not allow me to specify the number of pages I want to print. It only allows me to print all pages. If I want to only print the top searches, I have to waste paper and time printing the entire population. I'd like to be able to choose the number of pages to print.

  9. Market Cycle Timer Display
Once one gets an understanding of the powerful Vector Vest suite of tools it would be great to have a panel on the home page or the timing page, similar to the color guard displaying at a glance the status of the 7 Market Timing Tools i.e. using the red, Yellow, and up down neutral arrows and dot … have a grid with the current cycle status for each of the seven market timing models. The grid would allow one to select the timing model and see the last 10 days or so of that timers…

  11. To use the "My Watchlists" as an "action plan", when you have a list of stocks to buy or to sell, you need to sort them by order of your own ranking, priority, dates, the porfolio names against which you plan to buy or sell stocks, and other currently missing information that you may get from other sources such as next earnings due dates, etc. For this, you need to be able to add new empty columns with customizable column names so you can enter your own notes, and these new columns are sortable based on their contents.

    Example:

    Company,…

  12. After reading about Focusing/Rotating in several of Dr. DiLiddo’s essays I started trying to track the occurrences by looking at the chart in the timing section of the Views but the process is tedious and limited to the chart’s 15 day window. I would like to see a parameter added to the Timing and Climate graphs that shows an uptick on days when Focusing occurs, a downtick on Rotation days and a neutral move when the %Buys and %Sells move in different directions.
I’ve included an example of a graph of the data from the Oct. 9-10 change though the…

  15. I believe entering a free cash flow metric would be incredibly important in analyzing dividend efficacy and safety. Also, historical earnings growth year-over-year; I believe that the GRT field is based on your PROJECTED earnings growth.

  18. In Viewers provide "from to" number options in Top Lists

    i.e. 100-199, 200-299

This would really help as i'm finding after selecting Top 100 … it's not that easy to then select the next 100 stocks to graph i.e. 100-199

  20. Is it possible to use your massive database and show a 10 year candlestick on any stock with only 12 candles per year? 120 Total candles for a 10 year period. Changing the time frame to monthly instead of weekly would filter some of the volatility and gives a clearer trend indication.
