  1. Add an end date and/or test period days to QuickTest

    I want to test fixed period lengths, say 30/60/90 day periods, from the search date. It's not much use to use QuickTest on a 2004 list and get result based on today's date.

  2. I'd like to be able to plot ATR channels and the Keltner channels ON the price graph in place of Bollinger Bands.

    ATR Channels & the Keltner Channels give us a smoother plot because they do not use Standard Deviation and they use EMA rather than SMA.

    I want to be able to plot Keltner or ATR channels ON the price graph.

  3. When saving a graph layout, save the horizontal lines as well.

    When saving a graph layout, save the horizontal lines as well. I put horizontal lines on the stochastic oscillator to show 20 and 80. So I can better see when %k crosses these values. The fact that these are not saved in the graph layout means the graph layout feature is broken. These are part of the graph and should be saved as such.

  4. Price Retracements & Extensions Using Fibonacci Graph Tool

    Please consider adding a webinar on using the Fibonacci graph tool to help us add another measure/estimate of price movements and targets in assessing a prospective trade. While there are proponents that say they only use Fibs for trading and no other indicators, at least having a reference guide on the proper use of Fibs would help in assessing a trade, price projections (both retracements & extensions), and risk assessment.

  5. THERE IS A FAULT IN THE SOFTWARE. THE SHARE PRICE DIVIDES BY 1000 WHEN THE PRICE GETS HIGH AND INCORRECTLY CALCULATES THE PORTFOLIO VALUE.

    FIX THE PROBLEM PLEASE IT IS AFFECTING THE PORTFOLIO VALUES OF NASPERS AND INBEV IN SOUTH AFRICA. I UNDERSTAND SOME OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER 4 MONTHS NOW!!

  10. In Portfolio; add a percentage column for percentage of each stock in the portfolio

    Without having to go to the diversification graph, it would be good to have a column in the portfolio to show what percentage of each stock make up the total portfolio.

  15. Please change "Viewer" to allow sorting (as well as the order, forward or reverse sort) on another column as DEFAULT rather than forcing VST

    Viewer presumes you want the default sort by VST. Please change it so that you can save as DEFAULT a sort by any other column (and either forward or reverse sort saved). As it is, every time you go to a new view, you have to click on the desired column (e.g. Alphabetical to compare with other tools) and then it REVERSE sorts, and you have to click AGAIN to forward sort. Wastes a lot of time for such a simple and obvious feature that should have been there years ago.

  18. Have to RESTART VectorVest several times a day due to Memory issues

    I am a Software Engineer and suspect the Graphics code has a memory leak, as I noticed memory used increasing when I open many Graphs. Not sure if code is Java or .Net, or C or some other language, but their appears to be a leak somewhere causing me, jerry and other Jockey Club members to reboot during the day.

  19. Protrader search tool: the ability to produce a Weekly MA crossover search

    Please can you provide the facility for us to do Pro Trader searches on Weekly charts. For example I want to produce a list of stocks when the 20 Week MA crosses the 40 Week MA. Frankly I am gobsmacked, having paid $499 for ProTrader that I can't do that
